Anyone else have this problem? Your not inspired at *all* to make anything.  But once u get inspired, your torn between making a new piece of art, or making something that u *should* make to help you out (like, a portfolio piece to help you w/ jobs etc). So i'm trying to escape the suffocating grasp that Vector art has on me, and try to persue other forms of art.  Currently, i'm learning Maya.  Of course, i suck total butt at it right now, but hey, everyones gotta start somewhere in life ^_^.  I hope it comes naturally to me though, cause i really want to learn how to make some character models, not only for my portfolio, but for my personal uses as well.  I guess we'll see where this venture will take me in the next couple months or so...
